Advanced AutoCAD Seminar

GOAL: This workshop teaches users with a strong knowledge in AutoCAD how to communicate with external databases and programs and develop an understanding of more efficient and complex instructions in AutoCAD.

BENEFITS OF TRAINING: At the end of the course you will have all the tools required to create and modify drawings using AutoCAD including advanced knowledge to improve your systems efficiency and ability to interface with external sources.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS: This program features hands-on use of AutoCAD with realistic examples.

PROGRAM OUTLINE:
You will learn about:
•    Review of AutoCAD basics
•    Lines and symbols
•    Organizing drawings
•    Working with layers
•    Listing the status of your drawing
•    Object level information
•    Text styles and importing
•    Creating dimension styles
•    Drawing Complex Objects
•    Working with Block Attributes

METHODOLOGY: Training sessions are comprised of lecture, combined with hands-on workshops. Each student will utilize a computer with AutoCAD 2007 installed to perform advanced exercises. Workshops materials include the AutoCAD 2007 Bible by Ellen Finkelstein, Including a CD with hundreds of AutoCAD examples and a trial version of AutoCAD 2007.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Draftspersons, tool designers, technical inspectors, machine shop and tool room supervisors, manufacturing and project engineers and others seeking to gain more in-depth knowledge of AutoCAD.
