WILMINGTON, MA. KidsTerrain Inc. announced the launching of New Voices Publishing. The division will develop, acquire, and publish books for young children.

"We are thrilled to have expanded KidsTerrain into the publishing field," said KidsTerrain CEO, Margaret Moran, "It's a move that that is right in line with our mission, and will allow us to develop a number of projects simultaneously, and bring our products to market on an expedited timeframe."

Ellen Gilmartin, co-founder of KidsTerrain has been named Publisher of New Voices Publishing."The works we will produce will be designed to help children and the adults in their lives create a healthy and helpful dialogue regarding issues facing children in everyday life," said Gilmartin. "The stories will be told through the 'KidsTerrain kids'-six multicultural characters who provide the voices through which real-life issues are confronted, explored, and resolved."

Gilmartin continued, "Our works will also be interactive, with discussion questions provided at the end of each to facilitate dialogue between children and their peers and caretakers about the issues presented in the story."
